Description
Silestone is the only quartz material with built-in anti-microbial protection that safely fights the growth of microbes such as odour-causing bacteria, mould and mildew for the life of the product. While this does not protect against foodborne illness and is not a substitute for normal cleaning pracitice, it does make it easier to clean and keep clean.
Silestone has certification under NSF51 as a safe material for use in areas where food preparation can take place.
Silestone contributes to better indoor air quality because it has a low-to no emission of toxic chemicals into the indoor environment. This means it is suitable for interior building materials and furnishings in educational establishments.
Silestone also has a certificate verifying it as a kosher product!
