Once your choice is made and the order is placed:

» How we do things: from your order to your fitted worktops

Choosing your material:

Use our material finder :

By Brand By Colour By Price group

e.g Silestone e.g Brown e.g Price group 6

We offer over 200 different materials -far too many to display on one page!

To avoid confusion, we suggest you use the filter system above to break down your material choice to a more manageable size. We have tried to make the navigation as simple as we can.

E.g. if you have your heart set on a white worktop, just select white in the middle box above and click on `Go`. This will show you all the white materials we offer in granite and composite (quartz).

Alternatively, you be interested in natural granite only, in which case select `Granite` under the Brand list. All the composite brands such as SileStone are also listed here.

Stone Families

We offer too many materials to be able to stock them all. Whilst we keep good stocks, we are mainly fabricators, not stockists.

Instead, we are approved fabricators for all the above brands. Our granite is sourced from the 2 or 3 best local distributors to ensure consistent quality and full choice.

Our way: Order to fitted worktops

Once you have decided to go ahead with your order, the following procedure takes place.

What the customer must keep ready:

  1. All the kitchen cabinet carcasses must be in place and fixed - they cannot be moved once the kitchen has been templated as our measurements would be affected.
  2. The kitchen cabinets must be level - the better the level of the kitchen cabinets, the less the chance of breakage of the piece and the better the fitting looks.
  3. The hob and sink and tap(s) must be on site to allow us to take the correct measurements. (it is likely that we will take the sink with us to get the correct sink cut out).

Step 1 » Templating
Step 2 » Manufacturing
Step 3 » Fitting
  • An appointment to template will be arranged at the time the order is placed.
  • Our templater will take his measurements on site using either traditional methods using corregated plastic or electronic templating technology (you would see him taking photos from various angles)

Template

  • The stone is cut from slabs to the correct size on the saw.
  • Edges of each piece are polished on the polishing machine.
  • The features are shaped on the CNC
    machine using accurate CAD drawings.
The masons carry out any final finishing using hand tools.

Manufacturing

Manufacturing

  • The stone pieces are carried into site on specially modified trolleys by the fixing team. Each piece is placed carefully in position on the cabinets.
  • The pieces are nudged together to line up the joint correctly and then levelled.
  • The joint is filled with stone resin which dries quickly allowing the stone pieces to be secured to the cabinets using silicone glue.
  • Any upstands and other features are fitted last. The granite must be allowed to set
for 24hours before the plumber can fit the sink and hob.
